My host in the little village of Pathandu, India

After my bicycle tour in southern India came to a close, it was time to move inland from the Arabian Sea about 3 hours by taxi to the little village of Pathandu, India. Here I was to meet and stay with T Sackson Simon, the president of Kerala Baptist Bible College and Seminary and gather information for the second story of my trip. To digress, several months ago as I planned the journey to Chennai India to meet Satish, I became good friends with a gentleman from India that attends my Church by the name of Binu Paul. Binu, along with his wife Princy and two daughters Charis and Charin were so kind to tell me about their country and help me prepare for my journey to their homeland. I felt compelled to expand my trip to Binu’s home state of Kerala and tell his story so that others in our church would know more of Binu’s mission. Binu is in the United States attending Southwestern Theological Seminary to obtain his doctorates degree in theology. Binu is a teacher at a seminary in southern India and obtaining his doctorates degree in America will open tremendous possibilities for advancing the work of the school. Not only will his expanded education allow Binu to further his work of translating books from english into his native language but his doctorates degree will allow his seminary to expand their degree plan by offering a masters of theology program as well. Kerala Baptist Bible College and seminary in Pathandu also has a church and a orphanage. The more I learned the more excited I became to tell their story of being and equipping others to be, the hands and feet of Jesus to this beautiful and remote area of southern India.

Great work and photos on your India trip. The next thing you will be doing is photos underwater. Move over Jacques Cousteau. Billy
