Zambia National Committee Meeting for Orphan Sunday

A few months ago at the CAFO conference in Nashville, I had the pleasure of interviewing Pastor Billiance Chondwe from South Africa for the World Without Orphans summit next year in Thailand. The Orphan Sunday movement was founded here in Zambia at Pastor Billy’s church through a vision that God laid on my friend Gary Schneider’s heart. What started in a small church in Africa has now spread to tens of thousands of churches in 70 countries around the world.

While working for Every Orphans Hope this week here in Zambia it was such a pleasure to sit in at the Zambia national committee meeting for Orphan Sunday chaired by Bishop John Ng’anou. It was a privilege to report on the OS work I was a part of in Guatemala last year and to tell a little of the plan for the next video to be made in the Philippines.

I will be leaving Zambia this Sunday and heading to the Philippines (Manilla and Bohol island) to meet with international director for Orphan Sunday, Jodi Jodi Jackson Tucker to be a part of the making of this years Orphan Sunday video.
It is such an honor to stand between these two gentleman who are a part of Orphan Sunday’s foundation.
