The Joy of the Flowers in France

Flowers 4

Driving through Lacoste and Menerbes en-route to a day market in Bonnieux left no doubt as to why Picasso, Cezanne, Van Gogh and Renoir found such inspiration here. Carissa and I fell in love with the fields of red poppies that made it seem as thought the grass was on fire. Even the stones and the rocks here in France cannot seem to restrain the joy of the flowers as they push there way through walls and walkways.

In the words of Nehemiah – “You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all the starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.”
