Return to Africa, Capturing Grace in Rwanda and DR Congo

Preparing for a return trip to Africa, Capturing Grace for several ministries in Rwanda and DR Congo –

December 6th – From my travel journal –

God is in the slums, in the cardboard boxes where the poor play house. God is in the silence of a mother who has infected her child with a virus that will end both their lives. God is in the cries heard under the rubble of war. God is in the debris of wasted opportunity and lives, and God is with us if we are with them. – Bono

Driving 3 1/2 hours from Kigali Rwanda to cross the border into DR Congo today to photograph. Praying for those who are in great need, I am honored to help tell their stories.

These images are of those whose lives and stories have left a lasting impression on my heart, I will never forget them. These precious souls are from Guatemala, the Philippines, India, The Dominican Republic, Uganda, Tanzania, Thailand, Zanzibar Island (off the east coast of Africa), Nepal, Cambodia and refugees from the Ukrainian front lines.
