Life in The Fairmount – Our Porchtrait Project

Meet the Dawson’s over in the 1900 block of 5th Ave.

I was pretty excited to do this Porchtrait when I learned that four year old Sunny would be wearing a shirt that announces an upcoming family expansion!

When I asked Caitlyn my Porchtrait Project question’s about life during Shelter In Place, here is what she had to say….

We are Michael and Caitlyn Dawson.

We have two kids, Brooks (almost 7) and Sunny (4) and we are pregnant with another baby due in November.

We have lived in Fairmount for 4.5 years.

The most difficult thing about shelter in place has been not being able to see family and friends. The kids miss playing with their friends and we miss date nights out and we look forward to being around those we love again.

We love the fun neighborhood events that Fairmount has and being able to walk to restaurants/coffee shops. Our favorite businesses are Brewed, Shinjuku Station, Melt, and Craftwork.

Our favorite things we have done during social distancing is playing outside with the kids, going fishing, and just spending more time together as a family.
