Touring Sighişoara Romania

Capturing Grace on a three week  journey through Romania, Croatia and France

After photographing for Stefi Micliuc and Kiwi House of Joy, Stefi was so kind to take us to Sighișoara, a city on the Târnava Mare River in Mureș County, Romania. Located in the historic region of Transylvania.

Hilltop Sighișoara Fortress is a well-preserved medieval old town of cobbled streets and elegant houses. One of 9 intact fortification towers, the 14th-century Clock Tower has a history museum and offers city views. Casa Dracula was the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s fictional count, and Biserica din Deal church, reached by a covered staircase, includes fragments of 1400s murals.

Dasha and I treasure the memories we made, listening to the clock tower chime, exploring the Church on the Hill cathedral and savoring the experience over lava cake and ice cream with Stefi.

Thanks to Stefi’s race car driving skills we made it to the airport in Cluj in time for our flight to Germany, then on to Romania. Thank you Stefi and Lumi for a memorable time in Romania.
