16 Feb In search of an elephant ride, in India.

I love the adventures I had while staying with my friend Binu’s family in southern India. They knew (for reasons I will disclose later) that I was very set on riding a elephant while in India. Try as we might, we were unable to get permission for me to get on this huge beast but due to Binu’s brothers persistence, I was able to get these photographs while standing with one. The photo’s do not do it justice but standing in person beside this unrestrained nor tethered behemoth in the wild was a awe inspiring experience that I will never forget. It was quite humbling to realize that he could squash me like a ant in one quick move. We all had great fun that day and I cannot wait for a return trip, and a ride. Thanks Mathew!
