10 Mar With Project Hopeful – At Ciudad de Los niños (City of the children) orphanage, Guatemala
3/3/2015 The Project Hope dental team travelled to the village of San Jose Villa Nueva today and worked at Remar -Ciudad de Los niños (City of the children).
Remar is an acronym for Rehabilitation of the Marganilized. In spanish, Remar means “to row”. The founder chose this word as he felt called by God to “row deeper” into the lives of those in need. While Remar started by ministering to the marginalized – the drug addicts, the homeless and those enslaved into sex trafficking it has since grown into an orphanage and school that impacts over 600 children.
These are the people that our Walk on Water initiative is committed to reaching and ministering to. Many here and are in dire need of dental work, they have abscesses and need tooth extractions and in some cases cavities that can be filled by this exceptionally talented and well equipped team. It’s beautiful to watch these skilled doctors provide love and healing to the least of these here at City of the Children
