27 Apr Exploring Lucerne, Switzerland
Our time in Lucerne, Switzerland was varied, resting up at our storybook cottage, enjoying the remnants of a leftover hazelnut pastry with some rich coffee while watching a unexpected snowfall from our second floor room. We walked into the city and people watched from a interesting cafe, explored a museum devoted to works by Picasso, stood in awe at a beautiful cathedral and climbed a twelfth century clock tower that had the most beautiful Alpaca’s standing guard. Carissa enjoyed the view from her clock tower perch and I found it to be a excellent place to photograph the city framed by the Swiss Alps. We finished off the evening with pizza at White Cross, some of the best I have ever tasted.
“I could spend my life arriving each evening in a new city.”
