Photographing for CAFO Summit 2018 – With Gennadiy Mokhnenko.

Having ridden from Paris France to the Atlantic ocean last year with Gennadiy and his adopted boys, it was an amazing experience to be by their side at CAFO Summit 2018. Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine interviewed Gennadiy for the Family LifeToday talk show.

Gennadiy’s message of “a world without orphans” penetrated hearts and moved all who heard. Andre, Gennadiy’s first of thirty two adopted children, performed a song he wrote in his own language, it was received with a standing ovation

Bless the Lord
You gave me life
Bless the Lord
In life, you keep me
I will worship you with glory, for your kindness
I’ll sing to you from my heart,
I’m glad that you’re with me
I will sing to you
All my days Lord
And give praise,
for your kindness
Hands pierced, I want to kiss
You resurrected me, I live for you

The CAFO Summit inspires and equips the Church to care for orphans and vulnerable children with wisdom-guided love. Last year’s conference drew over 2,000 foster and adoptive parents, orphan advocates, pastors and professionals from 30 countries. Together, we explore effective foster care, adoption, family preservation and global orphan ministry.

Pastor Gennadiy Mokhnenko and his team of former street children from Mariupol Ukraine have a big vision. A world without orphans. In 2011, they began a ride across the former Soviet Union to dispel myths preventing families from adopting children who needed families. This started a movement to go global, and since that first ride, they have crossed Europe and Asia and have seen over 200 children be placed into forever families! They only lack North America to complete this journey around the world. Learn how you can be part of this historic event as they ride from Los Angeles to Miami in the Summer of 2018 to raise support and awareness for the global orphan crisis and promote adoption
