Life in The Fairmount – Our Porchtrait Project

Meet Victoria and Blair Hancock over in the 1700 block of Washington Ave.

When I asked Victoria my Porchtrait Project question’s about life during Shelter In Place, here is what she had to say….

The most difficult thing about social distancing and shelter in place is that we had to cancel our honeymoon in Italy. We got married March 14, right before everything shut down locally and right after the ban on European travel.

We really miss seeing our local friends and family during this shelter in place.

We are looking forward to traveling, being with our friends, and for local restaurants to open back up.

Blair has lived in Fairmount for 3 years and Victoria just moved in recently.

Our favorite thing about living in Fairmount is being a short walk away from so many good restaurants on Magnolia.

Our favorite businesses are Spice and Melt. There is nothing better than a night of Thai food and ice cream!

Blair works in sales at a bearing manufacturer and Victoria is a Pilates instructor.

About the Photographer – I’m Ronnie Mosley, my wife Carol and I have lived in the Fairmount almost three years in the 1500 block of College Ave. My wife is the best neighbor anyone could hope for; I love people through the lens of my camera and Carol loves them with acts of kindness.

I have photographed in over 40 countries during the last five years, telling the stories of people who are making a difference in the lives of orphans, vulnerable children and people in poverty.
