Hilltop Sighișoara Fortress is a well-preserved medieval old town of cobbled streets and elegant houses. Casa Dracula was the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s fictional count, and Biserica din Deal church, reached by a covered staircase, includes fragments of 1400s murals.
