31 May Charleston, South Carolina sneak preview.
I’m so excited about the images from last months trip to Charleston, South Carolina with Carol. As I sifted through photographs for my upcoming posts on Charleston, I decided to go ahead and share some of my favorites a little early. So, consider this a sneak preview of two or three posts yet to come about Charleston’s architecture, plantations and food.

Posted at 14:39h, 01 JuneSome gorgeous photos you got here. Captions of an expert. That plate with mushroom and er … shrimp? looks interesting. Where are the ingredients spreaded on? Is it some kind of a sauce?

Posted at 15:27h, 01 JuneThanks for the compliment. The dish you are referring to was at “Hominy Grill” and it was delicious! It’s there take on Shrimp and Grits, mushrooms are sautĂ©ed with garlic and bacon drippings then mixed with green onions and crispy bacon, and all are served on top of buttery cheese grits. Good stuff. I will have more on food there in a future post. 🙂
