Christina and I have always shared a passion for travel and photography. A single photo can evoke memories and moods that are priceless. This photo speaks to both as I watched her gaze out into the Pacific Ocean while traveling in the Bay Area of San Francisco. This gorgeous trail in The Marin Headlands leads one through a tunnel that, when passed through, elicits a gasp of awe as spectacular views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge open up to the left and a little further on, Point Bonita lighthouse and the Pacific Ocean to the right. This is one of mine and Christina’s favorite places in all the world. Little did I know then that I would one day walk her down this exquisite path and place her hand into the hand of her very best friend and witness the two of them commit their love to each other. My mind carries me to this place often and I smile when it does.
