22 May Congratulations Carissa on choosing Pepperdine University!

Over the past year and a half, Carissa and I have brought new meaning to the phrase “college search”. Visiting Florida, Ohio, Chicago, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina , Oregon and California we took a pretty aggressive approach! It helped that we always look for any excuse to grab our cameras and take a trip. Carissa’s love of film production and acting was the guiding compass for her search as well as the desire to learn in a academically challenging environment that fosters values of serving and helping others. 

Ultimately the school that best fit Carissa’s interests and educational goals was Pepperdine University in Malibu California. 

We love their mission statement – 

“Pepperdine is a Christian university committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values, where students are strengthened for lives of purpose, service, and leadership.” 

In celebration of Carissa’s college decision along with her High School graduation weekend that is upon us, I feel moved to post some photographs that remind me of rich and beautiful memories Carissa and I shared during her College search.
