Oct 10th, From my travel journal – Morning Coffee in Pakur
Photographing for Alex and Sunita Sam of Everett Mission in Pakur India – Capturing Grace on a 16 flight, 5 week journey throughout Asia

Power outages led to a 4am wake up in my hot hotel room in Pakur. The heat and humidity here is relentless, you shower, only to be drenched with sweat again in minutes, the shower seems to be an act of futility.

As soon as the sun started it’s illumination of the alleyways that surrounded me, I set off in search of coffee.

Having forgotten my billfold, I walked with only my camera and a smile. Soon, I was taken in by the friendly people of Pakur, led down an alleyway to a lot of smiles and treated to good coffee and a delicious pastry with new friends.
