Meet the Tirpak’s over in the 1400 block of Washington Ave.

It was very nice to meet Zach & Taylor and their dogs Breezy (black lab) and Murphy (coon hound) and take their Porchtrait! 

When I asked Taylor my Porchtrait Project question’s about life during Shelter In Place, here is what she had to say….

We’ve lived in Fairmount for 3 years. We both grew up on the east coast, and moved to Texas for work (and to be with each other.) 

My husband Zach works for Texas Pacific Land Trust as a GIS Analyst, and I am a Project Manager at Whiting-Turner Contracting doing commercial construction. 

Some of our favorite businesses in the area are Cannon Chinese, Poke Poke, and Melt. There are so many others, and we’re thankful to be able to walk down the street for date night and/or happy hour. 

The hardest part about shelter in place has been not being able to travel to visit our families who both live out of state.

About the Photographer – I’m Ronnie Mosley, my wife Carol and I have lived in the Fairmount almost three years in the 1500 block of College Ave. My wife is the best neighbor anyone could hope for; I love people through the lens of my camera and Carol loves them with acts of kindness.

I have photographed in over 40 countries during the last five years, telling the stories of people who are making a difference in the lives of orphans, vulnerable children and people in poverty.
