Congratulations Carissa, on all the amazing moments that make up your life.

We do not remember days; we remember moments.
Poet and novelist – Cesare Pavese

Our day yesterday was full, from an amazing corn beef sandwich at Nate’n Al’s Delicatessen in Beverly Hills, where nothing has changed much in 75 years to the amazing Getty museum perched high above LA.

The most memorable time was experiencing Carissa’s art project during her fourth year at Pepperdine. I could go on and on regarding the projects meaning and purpose but as a Dad, what I enjoyed the most was a moment, receiving a text saying “I need some tape!!!”, something only a dad can fully appreciate.

The experience conjured up many happy moments since Carissa’s birth of encouraging her to create and express with crayons, sticks, paper, seashells, water colors and pretty much anything that could make a mess and a treasure.
Helping Carissa put the final touches on her amazing art expression, hearing her professors words of praise and spending time with her friends were moments that will endure.

Congratulations Carissa, on all the amazing moments that make up your life.
