Life in The Fairmount – Our Porchtrait Project

Meet Mark and Jane over in the 1700 block of College Avenue.

I loved meeting their big friendly dog Nutmeg and taking their Porchtrait!

When I asked Mark my Porchtrait Project question’s about life during Shelter In Place, here is what she had to say….

Thank you for stopping by Ronnie, it was a pleasure to meet you!

My wife’s name is Jane Cook and our dog is Nutmeg.

We have been in Fairmount since 2018.

Jane is the director of food and nutrition at Baylor All Saints Hospital and I am a project consultant for Phillips Home Improvements.

We love to travel so for us, the most difficult thing about the shelter in place has been having to cancel some trips we had planned. We are hoping restrictions will be lifted later in the summer or fall so we can start exploring new places again!

One good thing about staying home is we have spent a lot of time on our porch and have really enjoyed seeing more people out walking and riding bikes. We have stayed busy by setting up a home gym in our living room and gardening.

About the Photographer – I’m Ronnie Mosley, my wife Carol and I have lived in the Fairmount almost three years in the 1500 block of College Ave. My wife is the best neighbor anyone could hope for; I love people through the lens of my camera and Carol loves them with acts of kindness.

I have photographed in over 40 countries during the last five years, telling the stories of people who are making a difference in the lives of orphans, vulnerable children and people in poverty.
